Today, Microsoft announced that Magic 2013, Magic 2014: Duels of the Planeswalkers, and Magic: The Gathering are now backward compatible. The franchise is surprisingly popular and many gamers have been waiting for these titles to hit Xbox One for years.

Magic 2013 brought many new additions to the franchise. It allows you to play with friends or a computer-controlled opponent as you travel across fantastic planes, take on new encounters and foes, solve challenging puzzles, and face other gamers in even larger battles. The goal of Magic 2013 is to eventually become skilled enough to take down the dragon Planeswalker Nicol Bolas.
Magic 2014: Duels of the Planeswalkers offers even more refined gameplay than its predecessors. When this game launched, the physical card game was being played by roughly twelve million fans around the world. Just like other titles in the franchise, Magic 2014 places players in the shoes of a Planeswalkers who travels through different levels of existence to vanquish horrifying creatures. The developer also tried to make Magic 2014 more appealing to beginners.
Magic: The Gathering features single-player and multiplayer campaign modes as well as new challenges to master. The game also contains an interactive tutorial which teaches beginners how to play. If you love card games, be sure to give these three titles a go because they're quite addictive.
