Don't expect a new Windows Insider build release this week

Things were looking up for a possible Windows 10 Insider release this week, but it seems Insiders will want to set their sights on next week instead. Windows Insider chief Dona Sarkar revealed on Twitter that the current build candidate needs a little more time in the oven before it rolls out to Insiders.

This occasionally happens with new builds, but Insiders are understandably eager to see what's next, particularly since it's been two weeks since hte rollout of hte last Fast ring build, build 17046. On the bright side, a bug that reared its head this week, seemingly kicking Insiders off of the Skip Ahead ring, has been remedied, according to Sarkar.

In any case, it looks like you can relax for the weekend if you were hoping to see a new build hit the Fast ring today.
