Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice now available for PC on the Microsoft Store

Just a week after launching on Xbox One, the critically acclaimed Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is now available on the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 PCs as well. Though it was previously available on PC through other storefronts, the game's listing on the Microsoft Store offers another alternative.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice first made its debut on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2017, and was widely praised for both its dark psychological story and its action combat. It later made its debut on Xbox One with special enhanced graphical modes for those playing on Xbox One X, including 4K with dynamic scaling, enhanced effects, and 60 FPS.

Though the game is now available on the Microsoft Store for both PC and Xbox One, there's, sadly, no Xbox Play Anywhere support. So, if you've already made a purchase on Xbox (or vice versa), you'll have to buy it again to get it on PC. The PC version does include Xbox Live achievements and presence support, however, so you'll be able to add to your gamerscore.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was developed by Ninja Theory, the makers of DMC: Devil May Cry, Enslaved: Odyssey, and Heavenly Sword. Firmly immersed in Norse mythology, the game follows the titular Senua in a battle against hell itself to save the soul of her dead lover. The game is filled with psychological themes, puzzle elements, and an exploration of the line between hallucinations and reality.
